A new place to invent the medicine of tomorrow in Charleroi

On Wednesday 27 May, we laid the foundation stone of the Michel Cremer Medical Innovation Centre in Charleroi, alongside Mayor Thomas Dermine and the Minister-President of the Walloon Region, Adrien Dolimont.

Designed as a real tool in support of cutting-edge research in endoscopy, the centre is in direct dialogue with the neighbouring Marie Curie Hospital and its urban environment.

Organised around public functions on the ground floor (reception, auditorium, offices) and research floors and offices upstairs, the project adopts the principles of the new world of work: flexible spaces, carefully designed acoustic comfort and durable materials, all to foster collaboration between researchers, doctors and patients.
