AZ Diest laureate of EHD Awards 2026

Back from two inspiring days at the European Healthcare Design 2026 conference in London, where we had the opportunity to share how research and practice come together in our work at archipelago.

We are also honoured that the AZ Diest (General Hospital Diest) project, designed in collaboration with Gortemaker Algra Feenstra architects, is laureate in the "Design for large-scale healthcare infrastructure" category of the European Healthcare Design Awards 2026, a strong encouragement to keep pushing for human-centred, sustainable healthcare architecture.
