Bridging BIM education and practice in Barcelona

Archipelago is pleased to share that we have joined the Advisory Board of the Master in BIM Management. Digital Transformation and New Business Models at UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in Barcelona.

As part of this collaboration, our colleague Nicola Paltrinieri recently took part in the jury of the BIM Start‑Up Award, recognising master’s final projects that turn BIM and digitalisation into new business models and services.

This year’s first prize went to Musea, with second and third prizes awarded to AOD Systems and BIM Alert. Congratulations to all the teams for the quality of their proposals and their clear ambition to create real impact in the AECO sector.

We look forward to contributing to the programme through the Advisory Board and helping to build stronger bridges between academic training and professional practice in digital construction.
