Leefdaal school is completed

Last Friday, the multifunctional Voerdal pavilion in Leefdaal was officially opened. This marks the completion of the entire project around the municipal primary school and the community functions.

What began as the redevelopment of an outdated site has grown into a renewed place for learning, playing, meeting and community life. With space for the primary school, kindergarten, multipurpose hall, youth centre, public park and parking garden, Leefdaal gains a recognisable and vibrant village hub.

By organising the programme compactly, maximum space is preserved for greenery. Views towards the Voer Valley, low-traffic access routes and shared outdoor spaces strengthen the relationship between the school, the village and the landscape.

With the opening of Voerdal, the site is now fully ready for its next chapter: a place where education, community and nature meet every day.
