Revapolis: an integrated care campus comes to life in Zandhoven

The time has come. Yesterday, Tuesday 28 April, the foundation stone of Revapolis was officially laid on the Hooidonk site in Zandhoven.

On this new, green campus, Rehabilitation Centre Pulderbos, Care Residence Hooidonk, Respite House De Limmerik and school Viapluz are joining forces.

Revapolis will be a recognisable place with its own identity, where young patients, adult guests and their networks can easily find their way. The design is based on a clear structure, with the “corridor” as its backbone and a village-like layout around the Revaplein, the lively marketplace with reception, bar, school, library and meeting spaces.

As you walk further into the site, the surroundings become quieter. The residential units for Pulderbos, the recovery and holiday stays of Hooidonk, the respite house and the children’s farm each find their own place, embedded in the landscape. In this way, a campus emerges where rehabilitation, recovery, care holidays and respite care come together, with maximum attention to light, views, greenery and a sense of security.

With Revapolis, we are building together with our partners a warm, future-proof care environment for young and old alike, from the first stone to the final detail.
